About Us

BIG NIK BASKETBALL was birthed in the Spring of 2022! We enjoyed a successful first campaign of AAU travel basketball. With 4 total teams (3 boys and 1 girls), they won a total of 6 tournaments championships during the Spring and Summer of 2022. Season 1 of the High School session allowed us to witness tremendous development from our players. A few of them cracked the Prep Hoops Michigan state rankings for the first time!  

In the Fall of 2022, we expanded the BNB program!  We added both 7th and 8th grade boys' middle school teams. The excitement of welcoming new student-athletes, coaches and families to the BIG NIK BASKETBALL family was unmatched! Fast forward to 2023 and 2024 we continued to expand with 8 teams! ..... and now as the 2025 Summer session comes to a close BNB has a total of 10 teams! From 4th-11th Grade (Boys 7, Girls 3) The growth and support has been a blessing. 

At BNB, we believe that passion is the foundation of greatness. Student-athletes are expected to bring energy, heart, and a true love for the game every time they step on the court. Playing for BNB is not just about talent- it's about effort, attitude, and the drive to improve. Passion fuels our work ethic, our commitment to teammates, and our desire to grow both on and off the court.
